What is DampRid

DampRid is a product designed to remove moisture from the air, which helps prevent excessive humidity as well as mould and mildew. It consists of a non-toxic inorganic mineral salt called calcium chloride that naturally absorbs moisture from the air.

How DampRid Works

When DampRid’s crystals are exposed to air, they absorb excess moisture, the crystals harden and form a solid mass. They then begin to dissolve and the liquid will begin to drip into the bottom chamber.

Once all the crystals have dissolved:

For the Refillable Moisture Absorber empty the collected liquid into the sink (with running water) or toilet and refill.

For the Hanging Moisture Absorbers and the Disposable items discard the DampRid product and replace with a new one.
